I enjoy reading your ideas on simple activities to do with children. I teach first grade an am constantly looking for fresh approaches to science.  I will be a unit on changes; solid, liquid, gas as well as a unit on butterflies.  I also have to teach rocks and minerals this year.  What a challenge!
