Description of School:
We are an immediate school, grades 4-6 with approximately 300 + students.
Meadow Brook is a public school. Our school day begins at 8:15 - 3:00. Our class size is 23-27 for most classes. The students are in self-contained classroom with the exception of computer, library, music and physical education specialist. Students have physical education 3 times a week for 30 minutes. We will complete the events for the teleolympics on a grass field.

Description of Community:
The College Place/ Walla Walla community is a very diverse group of people. We have three college campus's, but our school populatiion is 40-60% migrant. The city of College Place has a population of approximately 10,000, where our sister city of Walla Walla has about 50,000. Agriculture is important in this area: wheat, Walla Walla sweet onions, & aspargus to name specific produce. At Meadow Brook students compete in volleyball and basketball.

Personal note : I like the idea of the teleolympics but do not have time to do this with the entire school this year. I hope that it is alright to just begin with one class this year.
Thank you.
