St. Mary School is a Roman Catholic school in the service to the families of the little finger peninsula of Michigan for 109 years.
The community was established by German and French immigrants in the 1850's. Founding families included the Schaub's, Couturier's, Boutain's, St. John's, Lamie's, Brow's and Mosier's.
Our campus is in the shores of Lake Leenanau and about one mile from Lake Michigan.
We will compete on the school grounds making use of our softball field, utility field and playground to stage the events.
The comunity is surrounded by orchards of cherry, apple, plum and peach. Strawberries are abundant as well as mixed farming.
With so much water, recreation and resort industries abound.
Our athletes compete in basketball, baseball and softball and socer. One of our students in an olympic hopeful in downhill skiing.
Hoping for clear weather and healthy competitors.
