A description of your school:
We are a k-6 grade school with 18 classrooms and approximately 408 students. All 18 will participate this year.
Leal Elementary School from Urbana, IL is registering for the 1996 Tele-Olympics. We have already begun training and in fact are having our Tele-Olympic competition this Wed., May 8. We will do the standing long jump and the tennis ball throw on our school grounds in the morning and the 400 meter run and 50 meter run in the afternoon at Urbana High School track.

A description of your community:
Urbana is the county seat of Champaign County in Illinois. We are the home of the University of Illinois Fighting Illini. This is our fifth year to compete in the Tele-Olympics. Cathy Simon's 3rd and 4th grade classroom are the official hosts of the TO. Craig Huff's 3/4 room and Sharon Roth's 5th grade will also help in running this years TO.
